Gwen Stefani donates clothing worn by sons Kingston and Zuma...pieces include our Lil' Rock Star t-shirt!

Gwen Stefani donated items used by sons Zuma and Kingston to www.handmedowns.com for the site's first celebrity auction Feb.11. Proceeds go to the Children's Hospital of Orange County and the Orangewood Foundation. "When Gavin and I found out we could donate some things the boys had outgrown to raise money for charity, it was automatic for us," says Stefani. The site's April auction will feature Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter Harlow's castoffs.

People magazine highlights Stefani's "hand-me-down" charity giving in this month's issue.  Her son Kingston's "gently used" Light of Mine Designs  "Lil' Rock Star" t-shirt  was auctioned on www.handmedowns.com.  Winning bid was $200!

Deck the Halls with Family Treasures

Also a room for gathering, the kitchen is where, at Christmastime, a mammoth-sized fresh wreath is hung from the large triple window. Misty started collecting Light of Mine Designs ornaments, created by local artist Amy Calandra Davis, after they caught her eye at Amazement Square's Festival of Trees event. These ornaments adorn the wreath in the kitchen. "The ornaments are all done to benefit children and are in memory of [the artist's] son who died as a toddler," says Misty. "The symbolism and love is painted on every ball I treasure their unique style."
